The Midview Schools are located on a central campus that includes three new Elementary Schools that opened in 2005 to serve grades K-6, Midview Middle School for grades 7-8, and Midview High School, which has been rated Excellent by the State the last three years, serving grades 9-12. Transportation is provided to students in grades K-8.
Academically, the Midview Schools are proud to be a leading district in Lorain County reaching 22 of Ohio’s 26 statewide assessment indicators with a performance index of 96.8. The Midview District's designation is Effective. Our experienced, dedicated staff focuses on providing students with a foundation in the basic skills, while offering a wealth of complementary programs and courses that encourage individual academic success and personal growth.

In addition, we’re committed to aligning all lesson plans directly to the State’s academic content standards, and infusing state-of-the-art technology into the classroom at all levels to help prepare our students for the future. The Midview Local School District is the educational center to several communities including the village of Grafton, the rural areas of Carlisle, Eaton and Grafton townships, and the southern portion of the city of Elyria. Our location offers all of the special comforts of small-town living , with the convenience and ease of accessibility to downtown Cleveland and all the arts, sports, and shopping northeast Ohio has to offer.
