The East Vision
School should be a place that continues to foster innovations that inspires students to learn and ask questions that provoke thought and discovery. Where students want to continually achieve more and are not satisfied with just learning the basics. Our school should be a place where teachers and staff serve to help students with their instructional and personal needs.
A student's school will be a place that they can proudly call their own that guides them to be good classmates and neighbors to all in the community. The product of our school should be children that we can look back on and be proud of our part in helping them determine their purpose in society and the world.
East Intermediate wins the 2009-2010 Red Ribbon Week building decorating contest! Classroom doors were decorated according to the district theme of "Don't Fall into an Unhealthy Lifestyle", and the trees displayed in the main lobby represented healthy leaves/healthy choices at the top of the trees, and dead leaves/unhealthy choices on the floor under the trees. Staff, students, and parent volunteers worked hard to create a great atmosphere.

In the Fall of 2005, Midview opened East Intermediate School one of three new elementary buildings in a central campus setting on Durkee Road. These buildings were designed with the input of Midview's teachers and other staff members, and are a solid foundation for continued educational excellence. We thank the Midview District families and community for your support. Midview is on the move!
