MHS and MMS earn Harold A. Meyer Award for Sportmanship

Midview High School has earned the Harold A. Meyer Award for Sportsmanship for the fourth consecutive year, as was announced by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Friday.  Led by Kim Kauffman, Larry Dixon, Jason DiFranco, and students Lauren Gauvreau, Anthony Zunis, Mary Brown, and Mike Mercado, the SEI Committee earned the highest award given by the OHSAA.  90 High Schools, including Midview, were chosen as Meyer winners in early August.  Assistant Principal Linda Turk led the middle school effort in garnering the Middle School Meyer Award, given to only 14 Middle Schools throughout the state as part of the OHSAA effort to promote sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity throughout Ohio.
