The next ACT Test is June 14th with registration deadline of May 9, 2008. Late registration deadline is May 10-23, 2008, (late fee required).
The next SAT Test is June 7th with registration deadline of May 6, 2008. Late registration is May 15th, (late fee required).
MIDVIEW HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION - Classes will be June 9th-June 27th, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Tuition is $130.00 for Midview students only & class availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Information & registration forms are now available in the Guidance Office or visit www.midviewk12.org. No entries accepted after June 1st .
MIDVIEW HIGH SCHOOL ONLINE SUMMER SCHOOL - Two sessions will be held daily from June 11th-June 29th. Session 1 will be from 8:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. & Session 2 will be 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Students may earn 2 credits by attending both sessions or .5 credit or 1 credit by attending one session. The .5 credit is $130, first credit is $180 & the second credit is $155. Students must be residents of the Midview Local school District. Information & registration forms are now available in the Guidance Office or visit www.midviewk1.org. Suggested registration deadline is June 1st, but registrations will be accepted the first two days of summer school.
2008 OGT SUMMER INTERVENTION & TESTING OPPORTUNITY - Small group intervention sessions offered to give students the edge on the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT). Students may pick up a registration form & information on dates & times in the Midview High School Guidance Office. Students MUST attend 2 consecutive 3-hour intervention sessions prior to the administration of the OGT. Information on Dates & times are inside the brochure. This is an additional opportunity to take the OGT for students who have already taken but not passed one or more parts of the OGT. Suggested registration deadline is June 1st, but registrations will be accepted the first two days of summer school.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION - The following scholarship information & scholarships are in the Guidance Office:
CHARLES D. WHITMER WISI FUND SCHOLARSHIP – for students who plan to enroll and attend on a full-time basis, an accredited, four-year college or university or program leading to a Commission in the United states Armed Forces. This is an opportunity to renew up to three additional years, three (3) $1,000 scholarships offered for 2008-2009 year.
