Covered two AFC Championship games and a host of players from Bernie Kosar to Tim Couch for the Cleveland Browns, and was fortunate enough to cover the team’s story from leaving Cleveland to when they returned to the city.

As his family grew, Jantz stepped down from his public fame to allow more time with his wife and four children, and now freelances for WKYC and the NBA. When questioned about this transition, he says his answer is simple: “Being the kind of father I think I should be is much more important to me than any career I could ever have.”

Coaching kids is a true passion for Jantz. He manages two softball teams, one baseball team, and soccer in the spring and early summer and organizes the girl’s ponytail league. Coaches three basketball teams in the winter.
