The evening started by thanking some folks instrumental in making the 2012-13 season a success. The coaching staff was recognized for their countless hours of dedication to their sports and for providing the student-athletes with positive experiences.

posted 3/19/13 -- The Southwestern Conference (SWC) has voted to expand to a ten-team league configuration with the addition of Lakewood High School and Midview High School as full conference members beginning with the 2015-2016 school year. The SWC will operate with 10 teams for the first time in its' long history, dating back to its' inception in 1937.

posted 2/6/13 -- Midview High School senior student-athlete Steven Best joined the fun of National Signing Day this morning on the campus of the Midview School District. Best, a left tackle (6-4, 235 pounds), officially signed on to play football on the defensive side of the ball at NCAA Division II Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.

Wes Davic - Boys' Basketball
This past week, senior boys’ basketball player Wes Davic was noted as the most highly decorated winter sports athlete at the season ending Winter Sports Banquet. Davis was a first-team All-West Shore Conference (WSC) and All-Loarin County honoree plus named second team All-District and honorable mention All-State. Davic, who was also named the WSC Player of the Year, will represent Midview in the Indiana vs. Ohio Classic All-Star Game March 30th on the border of the two states.
