September 8: Girls Soccer - Solid Defense lets Midview tie with Nordonia Senior Hilary Sturgeon scored the lone goal for the Middies on Saturday as they tied Nordonia, 1-1, in a game in Adelsberg Stadium. Goalkeeper Jenna Plas was outstanding in goal with 9 saves. The Girls, now 3-3-1, take on
August 30: Girls Soccer - Middie Girls Overwhelm Keystone Led by two goals from Sophomore Ann Turner, the Middies Girls' Soccer team dominated the match from the beginning and defeated Keystone 5-0 on Saturday. Hillary Sturgeon, Grace Turner, and Hallie VanDyke rounded out the scoring for the Middies, as goalkeeper Jenna Plas made 5 saves in the shutout win. The Middies travel to Vermilion on Wednesday, as they put their 3-2 record on the line, while looking to improve in the WSC to 1-1. August 22: Lady Middies Soccer has Pioneers seeing Brown and Double
Led by a strong defensive effort from Brooke Brown, Katrina Beckloff, Ashley Reeves, and goaltender Jenna Plas, the Middies held off Elyria 1-0 in a defensive struggle at the Elyria Soccer Fields on Thursday night. Sophomore forward Grace Turner, used nifty ball skills and a feed from her twin sister Ann and banged the ball off of the left post and into the net to score the only goal of the game at the 25 minute mark of the second half. The Middies, now 1-1, host Southview on Saturday as they open at Adelsberg Stadium at 1pm.
