(Posted 3/8/12) CHEERLEADING TRYOUT INFORMATION ... Attention girls interested in trying out for the 7th and 8th grade cheerleading squad for the 2012-2013 season.  There will be a "Mandatory" Parent Meeting held in the MMS cafeteria on Wednesday, March 21st at 6:30 p.m. 

(Posted 3/6/12) WSC GIRL'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT INFO ... The 2012 West Shore Conference Middle School Girl's Basketball Tournament begins this week with play-in-games.  The 8th grade team will host Vermlion this Thursday at 4:30 p.m.  CLICK HERE to view the tournament bracket which the Middies will be placed in after Thursday's contest.  The 7th grade team will face Rocky River Thursday at Rocky River High School at 5:45 p.m.  CLICK HERE to view that tournament bracket.

(Posted 3/5/12) SPRING TRACK INFO ... Sign-up lists for track and field are currently in the  Main Office.  There will be a meeting with students interested in track and field during 9th period study hall to pass out parent information.  The first practice is Monday, March 19th from 2:35-4:00.  The team will have practice every weekday from 2:35 to 4:00 except for Good Friday and Spring Break practice will be Monday-Friday (time has not been decided).  Please CLICK HERE to print out parent information letter.

WANT TO PLAY A SPORT? ... If your child wants to play sports at Midview Middle School there are a few things you need to know.  Please click and read the links below in order:

2. OHSAA New Standards for Athletic Eligibility (Determine if your child has the grades)
3. OHSAA Physical Form (Need to have prior to tryouts)

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ... For the second consecutive season, the Midview Athletic Hall of Fame (MAHOF) will cut the Middle School Athletic Fees from $325 to $305 or $250 to $230 with a generous donation to all the athletics teams that participate during the 2011-12 school year.  This is a "one-time deduction" per student-athlete per school year.  CLICK HERE to find more information on MAHOF.
