Midview Ice Hockey donates time with Not Forgotten Box Program
Earlier this week, Midview Ice Hockey spent time off the ice helping the local
Salvation Army with its Not Forgotten Box program, which began in 1958.
On Tuesday, they brought all of the donated presents from the basement
to the gymnasium, while on Wednesday they helped load vehicles with
presents and food. It is the second straight season the Middies have supported this cause.
Despite being bumped up to the Red Division in the Greater Cleveland High School Hockey League (GCHSHL), the Midview Ice Hockey team is off to its best start in recent history. The Middies have won nine of their first 10 games. The only blemish is against Shaker Heights, ranked No. 7 in the first Ohio High School Ice Hockey Poll.
The Middies (9-1, 2-0) return to action against rival North Olmsted today at 4 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.
