What will you miss most about being a student-athlete at Midview?
I will miss the community and my teammates the most. I have met people that are one of a kind, making it hard to leave them.
What are you most proud of about your career as a student-athlete?
I’m most proud of what my teammates and I have been able to overcome, such as injuries, and the bonds I’ve been able to make with all of my younger teammates.
What was your favorite game, meet or match that you were involved in? Why?
My favorite game was the Berea-Midpark tournament basketball game this year. We were able to win in the first round of the tournament, which hasn’t happened in about 10 years. It also shows how far the program has come during my four years and the potential that the team has going into next year.
What is your advice to your younger teammates?
When things get tough and overwhelming don’t be afraid to ask for help, especially from older teammates, because chances are that they’ve gone through some of the same troubles as you and will know how to manage.
