Jim "Basketball" Jones is a motivational speaker that helps and inspires kids to be their best. His message, "that kids want to be GREAT, therefore, it is important for them to feel GREAT about themselves. Kids should feel you believe in them and you expect GREAT things from them. Unfortunately, too often, negative influences affect their self-esteem. It is important that kids are reminded daily that they are worthy of being GREAT and that it is COOL to be YOU!"
If you want to see what your child learned at the assembly, you might ask the following questions:
- What are three kinds of choices?
- What is Piece of Cake, and what does it mean?
- How can you show respect by listening?
- What are mistakes good for?
- Tell me Jim "Basketball" Jones's "3 Pointers"?
- What was school like for Jim "Basketball" Jones?
You can find the answers and other discussion topics for you and your child online at www.jimbasketballjones.com
