FAQs
Why won't Mrs. M answer my questions about my grade in class?
8/25/09 -- There are 26 to 29 students in each class. Is it fair to the other 28 students if I spend 5-10 minutes going oner person's individual grades? Even if each student only takes 2-3 minutes and only 2-3 students ask each days, that still eats up a lot of class time. I understand students are used to parents and empolyers who are able to answer their questions as soon as they are asked. (Empolyers and parents may disagree with that statement.) Teachers do have a lot of students asking a lot of questions at one time, plus we have all that information we need to share with you in just 50 minutes each day. I always want to help my students, but I do need you to come after class to ask about your individual grade. I will be happy to set up a time to meet and go over your grades with you or your parents. Please ask after class!
What is my grade? What am I missing?
8/25/09 -- Look online at your grade in progress book which is updated almost daily. There are also weekly printouts posted (by school ID number) in the classrooms and individual printout are passed out 2 to 4 times a quarter. (Check the return shelf for your period to see if there is one for you.)
