In honor of the 2022 National Athletic Training Month, Midview Athletics would like to recognize a special person within its Athletic Department family—Nick Perez, our Cleveland Clinic Certified Athletic Trainer. Nick, a native of Lorain, joined Middie Nation this fall and quickly earned the trust of coaches and student-athletes while providing them with the medical care they need in a professional manner.
During March, Athletic Trainers across America are being recognized
for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries and stay healthy
and active. Athletic Trainers are Health Care Professionals, highly
educated and dedicated to the job at hand. Athletic Trainers can be
found in high schools and colleges, corporations, professional sports,
the military, performing arts and clinics, hospitals and physician
offices. They provide compassionate care for all. The slogan for this year’s National Athletic Training Month celebration is “Providing Healthcare Everywhere.”
“Athletic Trainers like Nick are the lifeblood our our Athletic Departments,” Midview Athletics Director Dan May said. "Whether he is working with our own student-athletes or assisting with the players from the other teams, he does a fabulous job. Athletic Trainers are not recognized enough for their efforts and the long hours they dedicate to our kids. We thank Nick's family for allowing him to spend so much time away from home."
