On the morning of May 21, Midview High School students and their families gathered in Kubuski Gymnasium for the grades 9-12 Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, followed by the Senior Scholarships & Awards Ceremony.
During the Academic Achievement portion of the program, students were recognized for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. This year, 136 students received the award for the first time, 87 students earned second-year recognition, 60 students were honored for a third consecutive year, and 37 seniors were recognized for maintaining this level of academic excellence throughout all four years of high school.
The celebration continued with the presentation of scholarships and special awards to members of the Class of 2026. Thanks to the generosity of local organizations, families, and community partners, numerous seniors received scholarships to support their continued education and future career goals. The ongoing support of these groups plays a vital role in helping our graduates pursue their dreams beyond high school.
The scholarships presented during the ceremony represent many of the local scholarships awarded annually to Midview seniors. In addition to these honors, members of the Class of 2026 also independently earned numerous local, state, and national scholarships, as well as institutional scholarships from the colleges, universities, and programs they plan to attend. Altogether, the Class of 2026 has earned more than $2.5 million in scholarships.
