Dear Midview High School Students and Families,
I write this letter of introduction to you as the incoming principal of Midview High School with great excitement. I am honored to have the opportunity to become a member of a school community with such determined students, dedicated staff, and incredibly supportive families.
I have been dedicated to education for eighteen years and have worked with students ranging in age from Pre-K through 12th grade in various roles. I have been a special education and regular education teacher, a High School Assistant Principal, a Middle School Assistant Principal, an Elementary Principal, a basketball and baseball coach, and a Central Office Administrator. Most recently, I have served as the Associate Principal at Lakewood High School.
On a personal note, my wife, Monica, and I have a sophomore daughter in high school and two sons in the fourth and seventh grades. My mother and her six siblings, one of which was the best man at my wedding, were raised in Eaton Township and graduated from Midview High School.
Learning is a life-long process, and I am committed to learning about the Midview High School Community. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience, openness to learning, and child-centered approach to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences supported by high standards and expectations for all students and staff members. That being said, relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, teachers, and support staff. I encourage you to become involved and reach out to me if you have any questions or comments. I look forward to getting to know your child and your family.
