Midview West Families,
Welcome back! I am extremely excited to begin a new school year with so many new and familiar faces. Our staff strives to make our building a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our students and families. We work together as a team to make Midview West a place that students want to be and an environment where they have the opportunity to explore unique educational pathways, focus on social-emotional health and feel safe.
My role this year is to facilitate a relationship between families and the Midview district, reinforce and celebrate the PBIS structures that are put in place and to support students, staff, families and administration. Students will see me throughout their school day and I will be assisting teachers to acknowledge and reward positive behavior. Our district has three behavioral expectations for all students - ready, responsible and respectful. This helps foster an environment where students are engaged in learning, invested and involved in our school and where they feel respected.
As we begin the new school year, I am looking forward to connecting with all of the students and families in our building. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to support our students, families and district in such a positive role. Our relationships and family involvement are vital to our the success of our students and staff. Thank you in advance for your involvement and encouragement. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
