Free/Reduced Application is more than a school meal application
The pandemic has allowed us to serve all students breakfast and lunch at no charge regardless of income. Final guidance from the USDA indicates we will be charging for meals. Free meals will end before the start of the 2022-2023 school year. We are asking that families submit a school meal application to ensure students continue to have access to nutritious meals.
The school meal applications are used for more than certifying students for free or reduced schools meals. Filling out the application can help both you and your school by:
School funding: May provide additional funding for state and federal programs and services at our school.
Internet access: May qualify for family or discounted rates on home internet services.
Academic tests: May qualify for reduced registration fees for AP, SAT, and/or ACT tests. It might also qualify you for discounted rates associated with college admissions.
Every eligible form counts and is a valuable resource to our school. Submitting your school meal application that all families and their families can access these key benefits.
It is easy. To complete an application takes less than 10 minutes. You only need one application per family. Applications are completely confidential and will not be shared outside of the district office. Since yearly financial situations change from year to year, you must fill out a new application each year.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your application.
