Welcome!

School transportation for the Midview Local School District is available for students in grades K - 8.  It is the responsibility of the parent/student to arrange for the transportation of high school students.

The Transportation Department's goal is to provide a safe, efficient, and economical method of transporting students to and from school on a daily basis.  The safety of students is the first consideration in all matters pertaining to transportation.

The District provides transportation in compliance with State Law.  This fact does not relieve parents of students from the responsibility of supervision until such time as the student boards the bus in the morning and after the student exits the bus at the end of the school day.

Please contact the Transportation Department with any questions!

Bus Routes

As a reminder, all bus-related updates and communication are shared with families through the Stopfinder App (available for download in the App Store and Google Play). Stopfinder is an easy-to-use, all-in-one app that allows parents/guardians to have the most accurate information about your student’s bus schedule at any time, from anywhere.

The email address that is currently on file in FinalForms is used for Stopfinder setup at the beginning of each school year.

  • RETURNING MIDVIEW TRANSPORTATION FAMILIES: Please log in to your StopFinder account after our Back-to-School Rally, and scroll over to our first day of school to ensure your child's transportation schedule rollover was successful.

  • NEW MIDVIEW TRANSPORTATION FAMILIES: Transportation will send an email invite to join StopFinder around the time of our Back-to-School Rally. If you have not received an email, check the “Junk/Spam” folder or double-check the email address listed in FinalForms. If the invite email is in the "Junk/Spam" folder, move it to your inbox.

As a reminder, please allow Stopfinder to send notifications through the "Settings" of your phone.

A Notice to JVS Students and Parents

  1. JVS busing will depart promptly at 7:05 a.m. from the lot by the old middle school, which is the northeast corner of campus between the Bus Garage and the High School.

On days that Midview High School is not in session and the JVS is, JVS students are transported from Midview High School to the JVS in the morning at their regular time.  They are also then picked up at the JVS in the afternoon and transported back to Midview High School.  The only exception to this is on snow days.  If the Midview School District is closed due to weather conditions, buses do not run at all.  If the JVS is open on these days, students must find their own way to and from the JVS.

Alternate Transportation Form

If alternate transportation needs are required, please complete that request in Final Forms as soon as possible.
