FBLA Students

Midview High School students recently traveled to Columbus to compete in the Future Business Leaders of America’s (FBLA) state competition as part of Midview’s growing Career-Tech Education program.

Only a second-year chapter, Midview FBLA students made a significant impact at the competition, winning 18 prestigious awards and scholarships.

The State Leadership Conference (SLC) is a premier yearly event aimed at providing students with opportunities to develop their leadership and business skills, as well as to recognize their achievements and award outstanding performances. The conference also features keynote speakers, training, and opportunities for students to meet and interact with other like-minded individuals.

“FBLA prepares students to become community-minded business leaders through unique career and leadership experiences,” said Midview High School Business Technology Teacher Jessica Ruth. “Congratulations to our students for their outstanding performance and for making our school proud. This accomplishment is a testament to their tremendous potential and talent, and we look forward to seeing more of their accomplishments in the future.”

The following is a comprehensive list of all students who placed 10th or higher in their events. Students who placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in their respective events have qualified for the National FBLA Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. This opportunity allows them to compete against FBLA members from all 50 states in June.
