Midview Volleyball

Midview High School Head Volleyball Coach Kate Kasper is excited to introduce a new opportunity for local girls to improve their volleyball skills with the unveiling of a seven-week Summer Youth League. [Registration SiteLeague Flyer (PDF)]

The league is open to any student in the area entering grades 1-6 and will run on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings inside Kubuski Gymnasium from June 8-July 23. Wednesday sessions will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday sessions will take place from 9-10:30 a.m.

Registration is $125 and will take place online via Midview's LeagueApps Page Click on the "Leagues" tab and Select "Volleyball" then "2022 Midview Youth Volleyball League" to register. Registration, which ends May 28, includes 2 practice shirts, water bottle, 14 practice sessions, and end of season picnic.

Participants will be split up by grade and will form grade level teams. Practice sessions will be designed to teach basic volleyball skills to players of all skill levels. Participants will train like a Midview volleyball player and learn how to pass, set, hit and serve. They will also learn basic offense and defense, court positioning and team strategy while putting an emphases on the importance of teamwork.

The season will conclude with an end of season tournament and picnic on July 23.
