Midview Family,
Over the past two Sundays, the Midview Board of Education has held special meetings to discuss the search for the next superintendent of Midview Local Schools and the possible engagement of a search firm to assist with the process.
We are pleased to share that the Board has chosen to partner with the Educational Service Center of Lorain County (ESCLC) to support our search. With their guidance, we have established a tentative timeline for the process, beginning with the official posting of the position today.
We also invite members of our school community to complete a short survey to share input as part of the superintendent search process.
Tentative Timeline for the Superintendent Search:
March 16: Position posted; ESCLC begins screening applicants
April 6: Application deadline
April 12: Board reviews applications
April 16 & 17: First-round interviews
TBD: Finalists selected following first-round interviews
April 26: Second-round interviews
Following the Board’s selection and acceptance by the candidate, an announcement will be shared with the Midview community as soon as possible.
