The holiday season can bring added challenges for families. Midview Local Schools is coming together to support our school community by collecting food donations.
DONATIONS WILL SUPPORT:
Our primary goal is to collect items to help our district provide Christmas Meal Baskets to Midview families.
We will also gladly accept items for the Midview Backpack Program,
which provides meals to elementary and intermediate students on
weekends and during school breaks.
CHRISTMAS MEAL ITEMS:
Instant mashed potatoes
Canned yams
Boxed stuffing mix
Gravy packets or jars
Canned vegetables
Boxed macaroni & cheese
Instant biscuit mix
Hot chocolate mix
OTHER NEEDS:
Canned ravioli and pasta
Fruit cups or canned fruit
Granola bars and cereal bars
Pop-Tarts
Individual snack bags
(pretzels, crackers, etc.)
Canned tuna or chicken
Soup
HOW TO DONATE:
Food donations will be accepted through December 4. Donations may be sent to school with students or dropped off at the main office of any Midview school building. A collection box is also available at Modern Insurance (902 Main St. in Grafton) during regular business hours and will also be available during Old Fashioned Christmas.
