Craft Show

The Midview High School chapter of SkillsUSA is proud to announce the launch of its first Santa’s Workshop Arts & Craft Show Vendor Fair, a major fundraiser supporting student participation in regional, state, and national career-technical competitions and leadership development events. The event will take place on Sunday, December 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Midview High School, located at 38199 Capel Road, Grafton, OH 44044.

In its debut year, the fair has already grown into a robust community event, featuring more than 50 vendors offering handmade crafts, artisan goods, and unique holiday gifts—ideal for stocking stuffers and those seeking something special.

In addition to the vendors, visitors can look forward to a full lineup of activities and entertainment, including:

  • “Middie” Artist Showcase: Original artwork created by Midview students in grades 3–12.

  • Live Performances: Seasonal selections by the Midview High School Choir at 12:00 p.m., followed by the High School Jazz Band at 12:30 p.m.

  • Photos with Santa: Families can purchase printed images in two sizes.

  • DIY Ornament Decorating: Guests of all ages may purchase a pre-made ornament and personalize it on-site.

  • Raffles: A 50/50 raffle and themed basket raffles will be available throughout the day.

  • Concessions: A concession stand and food truck will offer snacks, meals, and beverages.

SkillsUSA is a national partnership of students, educators, and industry leaders working together to ensure the development of a strong and skilled workforce. Funds raised during the Santa’s Workshop Arts & Craft Show Vendor Fair play a vital role in helping Midview SkillsUSA students participate in high-level career-technical competitions and leadership initiatives. These opportunities allow students to demonstrate and refine the personal, workplace, and technical skills essential for future success.

Now in its third year, the Midview High School SkillsUSA chapter has quickly established itself as a strong representation of the organization’s mission. In 2024, the chapter earned 6th place in the nation in the Video News Production competition at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. Students are working diligently this year to return to the national stage and proudly represent Midview High School and the Grafton community.

A suggested donation of $2 per person will be collected at the door to directly benefit the program. Most vendors will accept cash, with limited card options available.
