Midview Family,
I hope you all had a wonderful spring break and were able to enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
I wanted to share a brief update regarding our superintendent search.
The application window officially closed on April 6, and we were very pleased with the number of candidates who applied. This past weekend, the Board of Education met to review applications and will begin first-round interviews later this week.
Second-round interviews are scheduled for April 26 and will include a panel of school community members. This group will have the opportunity to learn more about the finalists and share their feedback directly with the Board.
Including our community in this search process has been important to us from the beginning—from the feedback gathered through our community survey to this upcoming stakeholder interview session.
On that note, the Board of Education would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the superintendent search survey. Your feedback will continue to be a valuable resource as we move forward. Attached here, you will find a summary of the most common themes from the responses received.
As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at ttomasheski@midviewk12.org.
Take care,
Tom Tomasheski, Board President
