Miss Sherban and Mrs. Kidd put the "fun" in Fundations by swapping out their usual markers and whiteboards for fluffy shaving cream! Their first graders had a blast getting their hands messy while using this sensory activity to practice writing one-syllable words with bonus letters!
This is a reminder that Midview Local School District will have its first early release of the school year tomorrow, October 30. Students will be dismissed two hours earlier than usual. Please also note that the district will be closed on Friday, October 31, for a professional development day. Thank you!

The 2025–26 school year is right around the corner! To help you get ready, we’ve put together a Back-to-School Guide with key dates, helpful reminders, and everything you need to know before our first day on September 2, 2025.

We hope you are as excited as we are for our annual Back-to-School Rally! ALL district families (grades PK-12) are invited to kick off the 2025-26 school year with us during this fun event, which includes:
- Class lists for grades PK-6 (class lists will also be posted the following day on the front doors of our buildings for those who cannot attend)
- School year information (registration, food services, transportation, etc.)
- A variety of delicious treats and food trucks such as Manna Food Truck, Kona Ice, FranksnShakes, and bRaised in the CLE
- Free and fun activities, including balloon twisting, face painting, bounce houses, dunk tank, Eaton Township Fire & Rescue obstacle course and helicopter landing, athletic team games, and much more!
- Live DJ
- Local vendors, community partners, and Midview groups
Join us in the Midview Middle School parking lot on Thursday, August 21, from 5-7 p.m. In the event of rain, the Rally will be held inside of the Middle School.
