The 2025–26 school year is right around the corner! To help you get ready, we’ve put together a Back-to-School Guide with key dates, helpful reminders, and everything you need to know before our first day on September 2, 2025.

We hope you are as excited as we are for our annual Back-to-School Rally! ALL district families (grades PK-12) are invited to kick off the 2025-26 school year with us during this fun event, which includes:
- Class lists for grades PK-6 (class lists will also be posted the following day on the front doors of our buildings for those who cannot attend)
- School year information (registration, food services, transportation, etc.)
- A variety of delicious treats and food trucks such as Manna Food Truck, Kona Ice, FranksnShakes, and bRaised in the CLE
- Free and fun activities, including balloon twisting, face painting, bounce houses, dunk tank, Eaton Township Fire & Rescue obstacle course and helicopter landing, athletic team games, and much more!
- Live DJ
- Local vendors, community partners, and Midview groups

Join us in the Midview Middle School parking lot on Thursday, August 21, from 5-7 p.m. In the event of rain, the Rally will be held inside of the Middle School.

Midview Mobile Food Pantry is here to help! On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, the Midview Middle School Builders Club will distribute boxes of assorted shelf-stable food and frozen items to help you meet the needs of your family, friends, neighbors, or loved ones. Pick-up occurs from 3-4:30 p.m. at 12865 Grafton Rd, Grafton, OH 44044-School year service will be at the side of Midview Middle School-look for the signs. Middle School Visual Creations students kicked off the year by creating unconventional oil pastel self-portraits. They were challenged to draw only by looking in a mirror, using both their dominant and non-dominant hands to create a continuous line without glancing at the paper. Each artist then selected a version that best represented their style and incorporated three symbols around their faces to represent sources of personal power. Next, the class will transition to Adobe Illustrator, where they’ll explore how to apply their portraits in various formats, including web design, book covers, movie posters, and much more!

THANK YOU to all the community vendors, Middie groups, and families who joined us for our Back-to-School Rally last week! We look forward to this event every year, and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did. With just a few more days until the start of the 2024-25 school year, we’re excited to kick off the new year with such a fantastic community behind us!

The Friday Night Lights will shine even more brightly as we cheer on our Middies and celebrate the completion of our track and field! After a week of final touches, including striping the track and assembling the video scoreboard, we are thrilled to finally share the finished product with our community. Last week, we welcomed our 7th graders to Midview Middle School for a fun and informative Orientation day designed to help them adjust to their new environment and boost their confidence for the first day. Students participated in team-building exercises, practiced locker combinations (we all know how difficult those are at first!), went over expectations, received their schedules, and learned about the different clubs and activities available at MMS.
