This is a reminder that Midview Local School District will have its first early release of the school year tomorrow, October 30. Students will be dismissed two hours earlier than usual. Please also note that the district will be closed on Friday, October 31, for a professional development day. Thank you!

As a reminder, Midview Local Schools will be closed this Friday, Oct. 10, for NEOEA Day. We’ll see our students back in the classroom on Monday, Oct. 13!

We are SO grateful to everyone who has contributed to our Stuff the Bus initiative so far 🎒🚌 Thanks to your generosity, we already have many new school supplies and backpacks ready for Middie families — but we’re not done yet!

Middie families — shop our Stuff the Bus School Supply Store at East Intermediate during the Back-to-School Rally on August 21 from 5–7 p.m.! Whether you haven’t started shopping yet or just need a few final items, we’ve got you covered!

The 2025–26 school year is right around the corner! To help you get ready, we’ve put together a Back-to-School Guide with key dates, helpful reminders, and everything you need to know before our first day on September 2, 2025.

We hope you are as excited as we are for our annual Back-to-School Rally! ALL district families (grades PK-12) are invited to kick off the 2025-26 school year with us during this fun event, which includes:
- Class lists for grades PK-6 (class lists will also be posted the following day on the front doors of our buildings for those who cannot attend)
- School year information (registration, food services, transportation, etc.)
- A variety of delicious treats and food trucks such as Manna Food Truck, Kona Ice, FranksnShakes, and bRaised in the CLE
- Free and fun activities, including balloon twisting, face painting, bounce houses, dunk tank, Eaton Township Fire & Rescue obstacle course and helicopter landing, athletic team games, and much more!
- Live DJ
- Local vendors, community partners, and Midview groups

Join us in the Midview Middle School parking lot on Thursday, August 21, from 5-7 p.m. In the event of rain, the Rally will be held inside of the Middle School.

This year, Christmas came early for several students thanks to the kindness and work of our Midview Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) members, which includes maintenance and custodians, bus drivers and mechanics, kitchen staff, secretaries, and library/educational/special education paraprofessionals. Over the last several weeks, staff members worked together to donate and collect funds to purchase bicycles as part of their new Bikes for Kids Program. This past weekend, they assembled and hand-delivered new bikes to 13 deserving students in grades K-4!

A little rain won't ruin our shine! ☔ Though the weather is looking questionable tomorrow, our annual Back-to-School Rally is still on! If needed, the event will be moved inside Midview Middle School. ALL district families (PK-12) are invited to kick off the 2023-24 school year with us during this fun annual event, which includes: -free activities & entertainment -class lists -school year information -food trucks & ice cream -live DJ & Midview band performance -community vendors & partners
