Good morning, arrival conditions are still concerning with the winter weather advisory still in effect. Therefore, for the safety of our staff and students, I am cancelling school today, Tuesday, January 23rd.

Based upon the "Winter Storm Warning's" timing, it appears arrival will be very dangerous for our staff and students. Therefore, I am cancelling school tomorrow, Friday, January 19th. Please be safe and warm.

Due to extremely cold and dangerous wind chills forecasted for tomorrow morning, the Midview Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

This year, Christmas came early for several students thanks to the kindness and work of our Midview Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) members, which includes maintenance and custodians, bus drivers and mechanics, kitchen staff, secretaries, and library/educational/special education paraprofessionals.
Over the last several weeks, staff members worked together to donate and collect funds to purchase bicycles as part of their new Bikes for Kids Program. This past weekend, they assembled and hand-delivered new bikes to 13 deserving students in grades K-4!

A little rain won't ruin our shine! ☔ Though the weather is looking questionable tomorrow, our annual Back-to-School Rally is still on! If needed, the event will be moved inside Midview Middle School.
ALL district families (PK-12) are invited to kick off the 2023-24 school year with us during this fun annual event, which includes:
-free activities & entertainment
-class lists
-school year information
-food trucks & ice cream
-live DJ & Midview band performance
-community vendors & partners

From paper maché and clay to paint and pencil, the show highlighted artistically-talented Middies of all ages and skill levels.
We would also like to thank our five AP art seniors (Makenna Ruoff, Kya Walker, Mikaela Kraft, Riley Willard, and Samantha Hensley) for sharing their impressive portfolios during the event. Midview Local Schools have been fortunate to watch their creativity and talent grow throughout the years!
The world-famous Harlem Wizards have arrived in Midview to take on our staff! It's not too late to join us in the K-Gym tonight at 6:30 p.m. for some family fun!
